Reflexology is a healing modality based on the principle that there are areas and points on the feet (as well as the hands and ears) that are connected through the nervous system to corresponding parts of the body. When pressure is applied to these areas and points it stimulates the movement of energy along the nerve channels and helps to restore homeostasis in the body.
Our feet take a beating! They constantly support our weight throughout the day, we walk many miles, as well as other everyday activities. Plus they do this in footwear that constricts and squeezes, making their job that much more difficult. It’s no wonder they can accumulate tension and fatigue. Since the body is seen as a single unit (not just feet, ankles, legs, etc) this built-up tension can impact other parts of the body. By treating the feet, we can say we are treating the whole body. A Reflexology session is 60 minutes that your feet will thank you for!
- Improved circulation
- Uplift mood
- Boosts immune system
- Improved nerve functions
- Helps the body eliminate toxins (effects the organs, namely the bladder, which is a big part of this function)
Acupressure is a modality of body, or energy work utilizing the principles of Chinese medicine. In this method the practitioner works with energy points on the body that lie along meridians, or channels. These points are used to treat physical discomfort, stress, illness, and even trauma.
The main goal of acupressure is to bring balance to the body’s elemental energies, thus bringing homeostasis to the person as a whole. Treatments range from simple sports injuries, stress management, chronic pain/emotions, to traumatic memories. Sessions can be 30 minutes for a
quick “pep-me-up”, 60 minutes for a general treatment, or as long as 90 minutes for deeper treatments.
During the session you are full clothed and welcome to communicate any experiences that come to you.

Dan Ming Qigong instructor, and energy healing
Adam is a gentle and calm soul who finds joy in helping others. Having practiced martial arts since 1994, he felt a special connection with the art of Tai Chi, and later Qigong. In 2018 Adam pursued education in several healing modalities, earning his license in Massage Therapy, and certifications in Acupressure, Reiki, and Qigong healing and teaching. He became especially passionate with his Acupressure studies, where the focus was on chronic pain and emotions, as well as working with trauma. Adam can incorporate this into his massage and energy work to give clients a holistic healing experience.
Adam believes strongly a person’s innate ability to heal themselves in mind, body, and spirit. He will help you recognize what is causing your “dis-ease” and help empower you to take charge of finding your own energetic balance.
Adam also holds a Master’s in Education. Coupled with his many years of martial arts training and teaching, ranging from self-defense, exercise for senior citizens, and working with at risk-youth, Adam can adjust his teaching to fit the needs of each individual.
When Adam is not working with clients, you can find him hiking anywhere outdoors, working on a DIY project, or in kickboxing class. He is always looking to try new things, such as learning Salsa and Bachata dancing, and just recently starting learning guitar.
